Effective Business Communication Skills for Data Collection
The training team organized interactive trainings for staff members of Chamber of Commerce & Industry and other trade associations from surrounding cities on "Effective Business Communication Skills for Data Collection". The training took place at the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry between 21st October and 25th October 2010 respectively. The initiative was aimed at improving the staff members communication, negotiation and time management skills for effective performance. Through the short course participants learnt how to interact with the members of chambers and other stakeholders to retrieve information for R & D.

Processes and Benifits of Formal Exports
Training on 'Formal Export Processes' was designed keeping in view the basic training needs of small scale and less formal women exporters of pakistan. Gender integration is the cross cutting theme of the project's interventions. With the objective of facilitating and encouraging women exporters in the country, PTP carried out in-depth research on the trade environment and conditions facing women exporters in particular. Among other findings the research study also pointed out the lack of awareness and confidence among the women exporters to go through formal export processes. This training was therefore, a follow-up of our research finding.
